Flora Hill Netball & Sports Centre
The Bendigo Regional YMCA proudly manages the Flora Hill Netball & Sports Centre on behalf of a committee of management made up of representatives from Bendigo South East Secondary College, City of Greater Bendigo and the Bendigo Strathdale Netball Association.
Each year the stadium holds the Regional State League Netball Competition which showcases the elite country netballers, coaches and spectators from across the state. Approximately 500 students pass through the facility every school day and many school children attend netball, volleyball or basketball training at the centre outside school hours. Outside school operations, the Bendigo Strathdale Netball Association run their major netball competition every Saturday, involving hundreds of young participants using the centre numerous times throughout the year. In addition to all this, a number of community competitions attracting participants of all ages are played at the centre including mixed netball, volleyball, basketball training, tournaments and indoor soccer.
Other special events attracting different audiences have also been conducted at the centre such as expos and boxing tournaments.
